John Terry joins Chelsea to become latest ex player working behind the scene

John Terry who captained the west London to 5 premier league titles, 4 FA cups, 3 League cups and Europa league before saying his final goodbye as a player in the team has become the latest ex Chelsea player to return to the club and pick a role behind the scene. The 41-year old has just taken his first senior managerial position after spending time as Dean Smith's assistance coach at Aston Villa.

Other Chelsea ex players who has taken up some position in the club after hanging the boot are:
Peter cech: Technical and performance advisor.
Claude Makelele: Technical mentor.
Ashley coal: Academy coach.
Carlo cudicini: Technical loan coach and club ambassador.
Paulo Ferreira: Technical loan coach and club ambassador.
Ross Turnbull: Academic goalkeeper scout.
Henrique Hilario: Goalkeeper coach.

It's now official that Chelsea has given a coaching consultancy role to John Terry and the ex player has gone ahead to Twitter to acknowledge it.  In an official statement, Chelsea added: "As well as delivering on-field coaching, our former club captain will contribute to coaching discussions with colleagues, mentor Academy players and support parent dialogue.

"He will begin the role in a part-time capacity at the start of next month.
During his playing day, John Terry made 717 appearance for the blues and won 17 trophies.
