Alex Neil is the current football manager of Championship club Sunderland. He is also best known to have been a football player and a coach for Hamilton Academical football club in Scotland. Alex Neil has been recommended to many club because of his great performance.

Neil's professional career started early in 2000 at Airdrieonians, Alex played only half a season in the first Division in the Scottish football League. Alex Neil made 142 games across all competitions in Barnsley. He spent 4 years in Barnsley. Alex Neil then signed a deal with Mansfield on a free transfer deal.
